We are a team of learning specialists with multiple academic degrees and decades of successful teaching experience.

In our years of teaching in public school classrooms, we have actively investigated our students’ thinking, interests, and academic performance as they relate to the topics of instruction. See our research and references tab for more about that.

Nicole created their tutoring and enrichment services with a strong belief that students have a right for math to make sense. With that focus, Nicole helps students find their way through the trajectory of elementary mathematics. Nicole specializes in working with nontypical, “neurospicy,” and children recovering from trauma.

Blu created Prism Academic Curricula to share our research-validated approach for supporting individual learners within the context of their own knowledge structure. We offer student tutoring, parent coaching, and individualized curricula for homeschools and other personalized student-centered instruction.

We believe learning is complex and occurs within the context of a student’s existing mental framework. We honor each student’s unique learning experiences, interests, and cognitive strategies in all aspects of our tutoring, coaching, and curricula.
